It was a great pleasure for the Dean of USJ Business School to actively participate as a speaker at the Bank Audi Multinational Economic Forum titled “Lebanon’s Economic and Financial Conditions: Current Status, Forthcoming Challenges, and Outlook.” Alongside distinguished panelists such as Dr. Frederico Lima, IMF Resident Representative to Lebanon, Dr. Kristina Mikulova, EIB Representative to Lebanon, Mr. Yasser Akkaoui, Editor in Chief of Executive Magazine, and Dr. Marwan Barakat, Group Chief Economist and Head of Research at Bank Audi.

The forum brought together economic leaders from international institutions and embassies, businessmen, renowned economic experts, and university academics. In his presentation, Pr. Fouad Zmokhol highlighted the resilience of Lebanon’s private sector, which has not only withstood but also adapted to an environment of “unexpected” events that have become the “New Normal.” He proposed an objective plan to increase the value of locked dollars to reach 30% in the short term.
