Within the ongoing undergraduate course on Social Entrepreneurship lectured by our colleague Pr. May Merhej Sayegh, we were pleased to welcome Mr. Pierre Baaklini as a guest speaker, who conducted a session delving into his experiences with his social enterprise, emphasizing the three contexts of Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs): Social, economic, and environmental.
As the Founder of Lebanon Waste Management, a prominent recycling facility for Solid Waste, Mr. Baaklini shared insights into the innovative solutions and services his organization provides for municipalities, households, schools, universities, restaurants, hotels, and more. The session was highly interactive and proved to be a valuable experience, aiming to inspire students to embrace environmentally friendly lifestyles.
