On August 28, Nassib Ziadé (FDSP Class of 1983) was appointed as an associate member of the Institut de droit international. He now joins two other Lebanese members who are also part of the Institute, namely former FDSP Dean, Prof. Léna Gannagé, and Prof. Ibrahim Fadlallah.
Nassib Ziadé holds various prominent positions, including President of the IMF Administrative Tribunal, Judge at the United Nations Administrative Tribunal (tribunal was abolished as of December 31, 2009), President and CEO of the Bahrain Chamber for Dispute Resolution (BCDR), and arbitrator. Additionally, he serves as a visiting professor at FDSP and is a professor at the University of Miami.
