On May 12, 2023, the USJ Faculty of Education (FSEDU) organized a collaborative webinar with the Faculty of Education at University College London (UCL). The webinar provided a platform for PhD students from both faculties to present and share their research findings related to the field of digital learning. Various aspects of digital learning were explored, including learning analytics, educational technology applications, online and blended learning design, game-based learning, artificial intelligence in education, VR/AR in learning, and distance education.
As a result of the webinar, a refereed Student Journal was launched, offering PhD students from FSEDU and the Faculty of Education at UCL the opportunity to publish their research studies. Additionally, an advisory board was established for the journal, consisting of faculty members from both FSEDU and the Faculty of Education at UCL. This collaborative initiative aims to foster academic exchange and encourage scholarly contributions in the field of digital learning.
