Saint Joseph University – Dubai Campus (branch of Saint Joseph University of Beirut, which was founded in Lebanon in 1875) and Mohamed Abdulla Lawyers and Legal Consultants - Dubai Office signed a cooperation agreement through which the law firm funds a research project on the multiple legal aspects of the UAE laws including the private and public laws for a duration of 18 months. The agreement provides that the research conducted in the context of this grant will be published in a dedicated volume that includes specialized articles in English or Arabic, and will be distributed free of charge on a large scale in the United Arab Emirates to support legal research.

On this occasion, Professor Daccache, Rector of the University, affirmed that “this research grant will support the branch’s mission to be a player in the advancement of the legal doctrine in the United Arab Emirates.” On behalf of the law firm, Mr. Pierre Mehawej stressed on “the importance of the collaboration between legal professionals and academia in fostering a culture of research in the region.”
