On March 17, U.S ambassador to Lebanon, Dorothy Shea, inaugurated the USAID's CSP constructed water tank in Bqosta village. The event was attended by Mr. Nicolas Vivio, USAID acting Mission Director, Mr. Ibrahim Mezher, Bqosta Mayor, Mr. Rhett Gurian, CSP Chief of party, Pr. Fadi El Hage, Chairholder of the Chair of “Fondation Diane”, Mr. Fares El Zein, CSP technical assistance Director, and the USAID team, marking a milestone in the journey towards sustainable water access for the community.
Within the Community Support Program (CSP) funded by USAID, the Chair of “Fondation Diane” – CEEDD designed and provided the whole training program as part of the project raising awareness on water conservation to selected volunteers and other participants in Bqosta to enable them to lead community awareness campaigns on water conservation.
CEEDD also supported them to develop associated communication plans, community workshops, social media campaigns, infographics and videos related to water conservation.
