NOHA has an Erasmus Mundus label that allows the network to offer the Erasmus Mundus scholarship to students from all over the globe to study the Joint Master's Degree Programme in International Humanitarian Action. It is a two years study Master Program (120 ECTS).
The Erasmus Mundus scholarship covers:
- All participation costs for the programme (12.000€).
- Travel costs (a lump sum of 3.000€, 2.000€ or 1.000€ per year depending on the distance band from the coordinating institution which is the University of Deusto in Spain).
- Installation costs (a lump sum of 1.000€ only for partner country students)
- Monthly subsistence of 1.000€ for the entire duration of the studies
Candidates for the Masters Course should have obtained a Bachelor degree in a discipline of relevance to humanitarian action (e.g. disciplines rooted in Social Sciences and Humanities, but also Engineering or Medical Sciences). However, the NOHA Board carefully examines all of the applications and takes into account different criteria: quality of education, professional background, experience in and concern for humanitarian issues, multicultural sensitivity, and linguistic abilities.
