Online Winter Schools - University of Fribourg, Switzerland

The University of Fribourg is glad to extend an invitation of its ONLINE WINTER SCHOOLS 2022 to students.

The 5-days program starts with a common course of Introducing Switzerland in a nutshell. In the next three days, participants select to join one of the two Winter Schools:

Winter school 1:

International Business, Innovation & Entrepreneurship.

This coursse explains the reasons that keep Switzerland on top of the Global Innovation Index; it introduces the entrepreneurship phenomenon and approaches towards it from different sectors. Participants will be teamed up for a group work.

This course will also decode the basic concepts in the operation of multinational corporations; explain what is marketing, the ingredients in the marketing mix and its power across geographic borders.

WINTER SCHOOL 2:

Python for Data Analytics & Machine Learning (1.5 ECTS).

Suitable for beginners, this course dives deep in three topics, where participants will gain hands-on experience in Python.

• Introduction to Python for predictive modeling
• Unboxing the Machine Learning Algorithms in Python
• Deep Learning with Python 

The program wraps on the fifth day by gathering all participants, with a review of the week's learning and highlights.
