I always thought that my education will guide me in life, and I always tried to make the right choices to reach success. Today, I am convinced that education is life itself. My career started when I decided to find a job that helped me cover my university tuitions. Here was the beginning of the story in the television industry. I worked for Heya TV as a main presenter in their morning show.
I joined the Faculty of economics in 2004, convinced that I will be working as a banker after 3 years. I graduated in 2007and USJ itself offered me a job in the Campus of Human Sciences (CSH) as an administrative assistant. My boss at the time encouraged me to never quit a job I love and pushed me to continue my career at the TV.
2007 was an exceptional year. Freshly graduated, I started a new job at USJ and then moved to MTV to work in the economics news department, and I decided to get my Master’s degree in International Relations. Moving to the Faculty of Literature and Human Sciences (FLSH) and specifically to the History Department was made for a reason. Being a news anchor one day!
USJ helped me reach this goal. After graduating in 2010, I started hosting a real estate program along with a press review segment at MTV. When I was offered the opportunity to move to the news bulletin in 2012, I stopped my administrative job at USJ, and focused on my dream.
Three years later, I moved with my family to Abu Dhabi to pursue my never-ending ambitions, landing a position as a Senior News Anchor at Sky News Arabia.
USJ helped me accomplish those steps by offering knowledge, skills and experience for both my career and my life in general.
