Our first steps in the professional life start with our educational decisions. Mine was pursuing a bachelor’s degree in Economics, and a master’s degree in Economic Policies at one of the most prestigious universities in Lebanon; USJ.

Shortly after, I now stand proud as an Economic Attaché of the Lebanese Republic representing Lebanon abroad, in its embassy in Ivory Coast; the youngest in a project launched by the Lebanese Ministry of Foreign Affairs of a batch of twenty experienced personnel.

Such a career path is quite challenging, as it encompasses the efforts to support the Lebanese economy through attracting investments, promoting its exports to the world, encouraging tourism to Lebanon and building economic ties between Lebanon and other countries.

The aspirations of this project are high and only achievable by employing intensive endeavors, and for that, USJ has prepared me along with many others to venture in life’s challenges with a proper mindset.

Students struggle with choices while looking for a great future and selecting the educational institution that will provide them with opportunities as they graduate. Luckily, USJ was my university of choice and a beacon of change in my life. It equipped me with the right tools to move forward and dream big. I hope that I will, one day, make a remarkable change for Lebanon and its people.
