I joined FGM back in 2008 because I have always had the dream of becoming an entrepreneur one day... During my second year of education and as part of the university program, I had to apply for an internship and I got the chance to work with Philip Morris during summer. My determination and hard work paid off as, after my graduation, I was recruited by this huge multinational firm for the position of Consumer Engagement Executive. Being in the field and interacting with people helped me equip myself with huge knowledge and paved the way for bigger roles with the company. Today, I am on an assignment in Egypt as a Brand Manager overlooking Egypt & Levant countries. Work aside, and being a food lover, I thought about sharing my passion online so I am currently running a page on Instagram called @Grab.thefork, this is where I share reviews about my favorite places in town and around the globe by grabbing their fork and replacing it with my own branded fork. Finally, yes my entrepreneurial dream is still on and I will hopefully achieve it one day. However, I will ask you to keep in mind that nothing in life is just handed over on a silver plate, or with a “silver fork”, sometimes the opportunity does not knock, but it presents itself when you beat down the door.
