My name is Fadi Itani holding the bachelor and Master degree in Hospitality Management. I chose the Hospitality Management major at the “Institut de Gestion des Entreprises”, IGE- USJ because I wanted a career that reflects my lifestyle and passion for food and traveling. The best part about being in the hospitality field is the opportunities that arise every day from meeting new people and visiting new countries with distinguished cuisines and cultures. The IGE gave me the building blocks and the guidance to follow my passion and build a strong career. My three pillars were dedication, hard work and commitment-to-results. Fast forward ten years later, I have a job at GHIA Holding as Abd el Wahad Restaurant Franchise & Operations Manager.
I started my career as a Trainee at Mariott Hotel- Beirut while I was still pursuing my degree, where this internship turned into a part time job as a Front Office employee. Soon after graduation, I joined Hodema Consultancy- KSA where I gained great experience in the consultancy field. Later I came back to Lebanon to join Mayrig Restaurant as a Restaurant Manager then moved to Salmontini Restaurant as Operation and Franchise Manager. Later, I had the opportunity to join GHIA Holding as Head of Franchise Department and now as Abd el Wahab’s Franchise & Operations Manager. I strongly believe that education, hard work and perseverance are the keys to a strong and successful career.
