This course contributes to the development of Competency A: “Analyze the economic situation and monetary policy.” It teaches the process of monetary creation as well as the demand for money according to various economic trends. It allows students to analyze the instruments of monetary policy and its transmission mechanisms. In addition, it allows them to examine the said policy after the rational expectations revolution.
