This course is designed for students enrolled in the Master's in Translation program to increase their knowledge of machine translation and develop their 'machine translation literacy' so they can use machine translation more effectively, safely, and responsibly in our increasingly multilingual and multicultural community. It strives to instill an understanding of the significance of quality assurance in the professional context of translation, introducing students to the practices associated with reviewing human translations and post-editing machine translations.
