This course is designed to equip students with the necessary skills to proficiently translate various styles of documents from English into Arabic, particularly those relevant to conferences hosted by international organizations, including the United Nations institutions. Students will focus on mastering both the form and content of diverse document types and themes commonly encountered in these settings. Through practical exercises and theoretical discussions, students will develop a comprehensive understanding of the linguistic nuances and cultural sensitivities involved in effective translation for international audiences. By the end of the course, students will be well-prepared to produce accurate and contextually appropriate translations in the field of international affairs and diplomacy.
