048RGCBM3 | Regulation of gene expression |
---|---|
With this course, the MS student will acquire extensive knowledge in the field of gene expression regulation and will discuss essentially the mechanisms underlying Epigenetics, transcriptional and post transcriptional modes of gene expression regulation. This course also allows the students to become familiar with the key elements of protein-protein interactions, these play a key role in regulating the activity of several cellular proteins. This course will illustrate the different motifs of protein-protein interactions with a special focus on the methods used for their identification. HIV integrase that catalyzes the integration of viral DNA into the genome of the infected cell will be used as a model to explain these molecular interactions. Temps présentiel : 15 heures Charge de travail étudiant : 50 heures Méthode(s) d'évaluation : Analyse critique d'un article scientifique Référence : |
