Communication and language Disorders: Introduction

This TU is part of the bachelor’s degree in Speech and Language Therapy, in semester 3. It is mandatory. It offers the students an introduction to Developmental communication and Language Disorders (DLD), allowing them to learn about their etiology, semiology and classifications. This TU allows the students to: - Models of health and disability within society - Key developmental disorders of speech, language and communication - The wider effects of speech, language and communication difficulties - The value of studying clients with speech, language and communication difficulties
