The Effect of Bleaching on the Shade of Omnichroma Paste and Flow, With or Without Blocker: An In Vitro Study

Description :

The goal of this study is to determine whether the shade of Omnichroma (paste or flow) applied to teeth before bleaching will adapt to match the new color of the teeth after bleaching, by comparing these two different consistencies (existing studies only focus on Omnichroma Paste). Additionally, this study aims to assess whether the use of an Omnichroma Blocker Flow beneath the resin will yield different results in terms of color stability and overall aesthetic outcome, addressing the current lack of studies on the use of a blocker with Omnichroma in conjunction with bleaching. By incorporating the blocker into this study, the research seeks to evaluate its impact on the final aesthetic and color stability of Omnichroma resin when subjected to bleaching treatments (13). By comparing these variables, we aim to determine how Omnichroma reacts after bleaching, whether the consistency affects the results, and if the Omnichroma materials exhibit better color matching with the natural tooth shade post-bleaching when a blocker is used. The findings could provide valuable insights into optimizing clinical practices for Omnichroma use in cosmetic dental procedures by providing a deeper understanding of the materials' properties in a clinical context. The study will include two distinct groups: one group with a blocker (divided into 2 subgroups, one Omnichroma paste and one Omnichroma Flow), and the other without a blocker (divided into 2 subgroups, with Omnichroma paste and the other with Omnichroma Flow). The shade will be recorded initially, and after bleaching.
