103ICLSL5 | Introduction au système de common law |
---|---|
Comparative lawyers classify countries into legal families. The two most widely distributed families are the Romano-Germanic Civil law also called today Continental Law (French and Lebanese legal systems for example) and the Anglo-American Common law (UK, Commonwealth countries, US…). This course aims to try to extract those parts of the law that seem to be most relevant and useful to an external observer and to introduce students to the complexities of the common law systems (English and American), and thus try to remove some of the mysteries that shroud it. Temps présentiel : 15 heures Charge de travail étudiant : 50 heures Méthode(s) d'évaluation : Analyse d'article, Examen final, Travaux pratiques contrôlés Référence : |
