A former student of the Lebanese Institute of Educators at Saint-Joseph University, Rayane Kanaan has been a lecturer there since 2012. She holds a research master's degree in educational sciences obtained in 2008. 
She was in charge of the USJ daycare for five years after teaching for four years in a second grade class in a school in Beirut.
Since 2009, she has been an internship supervisor in the Department of Preschool and Primary Education. She provides several teaching units such as : Pedagogical Currents 1 and 2, Sensory Education and Arabic Teaching 1 as well as several continuing education sessions in Arabic and French.
