20 years of teaching experience at various levels starting with special education classes ranging to college classes.

Educational doctorate in educational leadership put to practice through several positions: intensive English coordinator, Global Teenager Project country coordinator, system administrator of Moodle and recently Head of English Department at USJ. My work has trained me in program review, specifically my work on the curriculum and data collection to improve the program.

Strong believer in ongoing professional development,  I have actively sought out extra opportunities, vehicles, and methods to enrich my educational career. Being part of IEA, a Lebanese-based NGO, I created the curriculum for a ten-week online course “Learning Difficulties in the Diverse Classroom”. I also facilitated the course itself which targeted Yemeni principals and educators with the main purpose of improving their planning and teaching practices. Moreover, I was involved for 10 years with the International Education and Resource Network (iEARN) where I guided students of different capabilities through collaborative Internet project based work.

Actively engaged in research opportunities to develop my research portfolio.
