I joined the Hôtel-Dieu de France hospital in Beirut in 2000 as a nurse assigned to the polyvalent intensive care unit. Subsequently, I obtained a master's degree in health Establishment Management, which allowed me to be promoted to the position of nurse care manager in a surgery department and then as a hygiene manager. My responsibilities evolved towards taking charge of the training of nursing staff, particularly ensuring the prevention of infection risks.
Alongside my role as a care manager at Hôtel-Dieu, I also taught nursing students at Saint Joseph University of Beirut part-time, as well as provided training in emergency care, hospital hygiene, and orientation courses for newly recruited nurses at the hospital. Additionally, I pursued a university diploma in pedagogy to enhance my personal and professional expertise, deepen my knowledge in pedagogy, and learn new academic and clinical teaching methods. Since September 2023, I have been affiliated with the Faculty of Nursing Sciences at USJ as a senior lecturer.
