Sustainable Development Goal 1 or SDG 1 ,one of the 17 Sustainable Development Goals established by the United Nations in 2015, calls for "no poverty".
The official wording is: "To end poverty in all its forms, everywhere" [UN, 2017]
In the Arab world, poverty is still on the rise, reaching 50% in Lebanon in 2020 !
